It’s easy to be grateful for my family and friends. I’m lucky enough to have a family I like: both paternal and maternal sides, and my in-laws. Family is sich a big part fo my life and my social circle. They are the village with which I raise my kids. They are the support system and the prayer warriors. They are running partners and the “always-down-to-hang-out” crowd that surrounds our little immediate family.
I’m also lucky enough to have made solid friendships in and through each stage of life (high school, college, co-workers, church) that are each everything anyone could want in a friend. Most of them do not live near me, so I’m grateful for technology that allows us to keep in touch. When we are able to meet in person, we pick up right where we left off. No judgement, no secrets, no drama – just easy, pure friendship. I’m blessed to know each and every women I call friend.
God has truly surrounded me with remarkable people, and I love them all more than words can adequately express.
